Easter bunnies, eggs, and candy galore!
Bring your Peeps downtown during this family favorite event! Hop along Main & Broad Streets and fill your Easter baskets with treats from participating merchants and make some memories along the way. The Easter Bunny and Spring Chick join in the fun for adorable photo ops!
The Downtown Candy Hop is rain or shine, immediately following the Town of Fuquay-Varina Egg Hunt.

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS!
Artists from across the region share their talents and capture the beauty of Fuquay-Varina! Since 2012, Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association has been able to support local artists and provide public art. This event offers a variety of ways to be involved: sponsor an artist, watch artists at work as they paint in our community, and view enlarged canvases of past winners installed on building facades. Prints from each year’s winning art are available for purchase. This event is a fan favorite, this showcases the talent and beauty of our community, as well as sharing an age old past time – painting outside in open air!

This year, we’re reimagining Fuquay-Varina’s premier evening into a dynamic, social atmosphere designed for connection and celebration.
This year’s event serves as a true tribute to the heartbeat of our town, blending the prestigious FVDA Downtown Awards with a vibrant spirit of live music and dancing.
A central highlight of the night will be our Live Auction, featuring our reimagined En Plein Air art, offering guests a chance to take home unique pieces inspired by the beauty of our community.
Join us for an unforgettable night of elegance in Downtown.
First Friday Night Market
On May 1st, from 5–8 pm, the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association (FVDA) will host its Spring First Friday Night Market.
We are currently seeking Maker vendors for the Night Market! As a special perk, Maker vendors who are Friends of the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association will receive free booth space. For those not yet Friends (and we invite you to join us!), the booth fee is $30.
If you’re interested, please review and complete the vendor form for more details. Booth spaces are limited. Vendors applications will be due April 17th, and vendors will be informed no later than April 21st If they are accepted. Applications will close once 24 vendors have been curated and accepted.
